399 blog entries
reminded me of the time when 100blog entries seem to be a feat and we're happily exclaiming over abt it and yesh now one more to 400 entries and the 400th will be abt the ese camp! nice~
learnt alot at work even tho it's not related to engr, figured that to learn is to talk more, speak up more and not sit at a corner and hope somehow someone will notice you or that the aura tt you've been desperately sending out is felt by the other party :p
but meiy's problem is that..what's there to say? i can never realli uds how pple can speak non stop for hours! even when they're eating, they still cont'd talking talking and talking...

So what have i learnt or want to learn..
as some may noe.. i'm actually doing 2 dept's work which not many will be able to exp and somehow i guess it's rather fortunate or unfortunate to do so haha
being involved in the second dept actually gives me the opportunity to know more abt the corporate side and the sensitive issue of money steps in and who's mroe powerful than who? Meiy as an intern can afford to be an onlooker and not get too involved, just waiting to see how things unfold.. just like watching a drama whereby you eagerly wait for the ending. yesh as an intern, i'm definitely entitled to do tt, entitled to ask certain sensitive issues without further complicating things... The mentality tt i set for myself accord to the nature of the work or job is too restrictive, sth done subconsciously, not deliberate. For example, in a job, as an intern, i dun get too involved cos i'm neither here nor there..what i say and do..will it actually make a siginificant diff in the company? so the committment level is not tt high and it's dwells alil on the bo chap range... The attachment and the passion isn't there. ^.^ But look at esesc..yesh that's my fun! i enjoy it.. i'm slowly opening up..perhaps it's cos i dun exactly belong to any comm..since a student advisor can be anywhere haha and as an advisor, it has its advantages which i shan't elaborate more haha :D so looking at things from diff perspective makes a difference! The mind over matters~
SO, Basically, i'm doing the groundwork which is the sai kang at work - go ard gul/benoi/tuas calculating mileage o_o''' haha
then the most interesting thign happen, tyre puncture! and i get to witness the changing of tyre haha not tt i never see it happen (only see it once during my driving lesson) but this is a lorry! Obviously it's interesting cos i'm not changing it like duh! muahaha...
and seriously the boon lay area is like a maze! the bends pretty much look the same but hardi did it pretty well... he noes where he is, rather fortunate..
Then...
to the question tt everyone will definitely ask themselves at some point in life - what sld i do in the future and up to this point, i still dunno..maybe a just a brief one but nth concrete so ytd when the tyre puncture... meiy and jane managed to talk and she taught me how... :D
which is go to the SGX website and find the companies' annual report(the only time i do tt is for the module FNA) then ask yourself what can you do/contribute/excel in the company AND what the company can give/teach you? This is sth tt i never exactly thought abt.. i only surf their website and look for relevant dept lol...i never thought abt how sld i excel in the company..which dept will be more appropriate to my strength (the technical mods only serve as a bonus but it can be comprehended pretty easily by anyone tt has a internet access), etc. Perhaps i haven sit down and think hard abt my future but just going with the flow.
Then....
as all of them are business graduates and with some work experience, i tried to look for a more appropriate biz section to dwell in, thru them.. since like i said previously i want to take up a biz module or even econs mod to couple with my eng cert. The econs never came since i cldn't take a minor for it :( regrets there. So i guess operations sld be good even tho finance is the best but like what deph always say..finance is the hardest. lol and i dun want to doubt it haha
but meiy's general knowledge abt money issue reali sucks! and i'm pretty lazy to look at posb or dbs or.... website to noe more abt the schemes and the blahblah stuff -_-
