after weeks of not updating due to lack of enthu in uploading the photos..
i've decided to do it
or else i can't cont'd blogging lol
FOC was great tho there were changes here and there most of the time since the rain refuses to cooperate...
lol i still remember outcast singing "rain rain go away, come again another day..." hilarious.
day 0 was fun with the mascot making esp the outcast who suddenly went bonkers halfway and started dwindling on their freshie identity card haha. laugh till stomach ache. and not forgetting the 'heart attack' - a group of helpers who last min can't come due to quarantine -_- seriously manpower short!
so got to rearrange everything... lesser time to slp..
Then the real thing starts the nx day and most of the freshie were punctual which is a pretty rare sight, i believe :) busy busy throughout since i'm in charge of the day games.. got to arrange everything and really fortunately i've a good helper - JAslin! if not for her, i wld have just died on the spot haha. Both equally stressed out pple.. constantly touching up on the games, preparing the logistic, finance issue, pondering abt wet weather plans, etc. That's what happen when lack of manpower! Fortunately, we din go under and we survived!!
has prata for supper one night and seriously, how do you eat prata with a plastic spoon and fork. ended up breaking the fork haha me and zhiwei took quite some time trying to devour that prata. comical sight.
camped over in the logistic room for both nights and it was like an ice room.. cldn't get to slp at all. brr... and with a running nose, growling stomach.. god knows when i actually slpt. :) haha but i was not alone. sharon was slping stucked in the middle of two growling stomachs - sin wen and meiy :)
bathing was alil traditional since we're lazy to walk all the way to mpsh or the lab building just to bathe..we settled for bathing using pails! conventional way :) but was excited over it haha tho the first cup that went down was brr...chilling! and i urms..flooded the toilet lol the toilet lady must have cursed and sweared the nx day :X so overall, i pretty much interact with the ese helpers. minimal interaction wif the freshies lol. sth regretable and sth to improved on nx year!
was pretty tired when the whole 3 days came to an end..and the nx day i had to work :s yeps reaching home ard 1am, i think. lol. Was totally concussed alr.. din chat much to kaifeng who's driving and obviously also trying hard not to doze off. opps!
Now, meiy is wondering how nx year's foc will be! much anticipation! and yesh i will definitely be there to giv my support!
so the first ESE FOC came to an end
Then the following week was the grad dinner organised in appreciation of the seniors. funky batch, i must say. They pretty much hyped the atmosphere tho not forgetting the comical group of yr1s - seetoh, david and minghoe. hilarious no link skit upped with a immortal dance muahahaha.. (can viewed it on facebook) they impressed me alot with their creative ideas..seriously they even make a video out of the pokemon game whereby the bad guy shoot he good guy..the visual effects and the sound effect. SUPERB! THUMBS UP! and yesh fortunately i managed to complete the grad video. phew~
realised that it's not easy working with 3 songs or 4 songs since u got to synchronise the images alil with the songs -_- but all turned out well :)
This proj was the first time i get to work with more of the year 1s and they are pretty much good. the commitment put in is sth to be applauded. Manage to learnt another way of handling datelines and pushing pple more. lol. some may know what i'm refering to :)
So.....
the first ese grad dinner came to an end too.
and with two events safely over! meiy is recuperating lol catching up her slp debt.. serious lack of slp. ;p so am trying to slp before 11pm every night after work which is equivalent to not going out and not facebooking for a long time... no tv shows... just eat, bathe, dwindle here and there then slp -_- life is just so boring~
meiy prays that nx year.. her working life will escaped from this cycle. prays hard.
Oh! and talking abt this, meiy have to mention that dearest alice has worn the dress robe! = graduation!
celebrate!!!!!!!! happie for her since her hard work pays off.
so met up with the madscam pple minus amelia.. there's always someone tt can't make it -_-
went ajisen again @ J8. It has become our fav hang out; a yearly event for us haha.. tried the octopus kimchi ramen. new receipe. pretty tasty but salty at the same time.
but then the nx day, ended up in the toilet again! somehow my stomach can't take in ajisen's ramen.. it was the same with volcano and kimchi ramen lol.. but i still eat :) hehe
this time round was annie who organised it since she's going to toronto for a year!!!!!!!! cool~
but she was alr missing singapore. omg!
had a great time catching up.. it's been loooonnnnnngggg. reali long haha
which reminds me, i haven exactly arrange a gathering for t24 for quite some time alr -_-
i sort of decided to leave it to kiaj to do it haha.. tired alr.
alrights~
so that pretty sums up the weeks and one more week till school starts!
one more week till intern ends!
will sort of miss them despite the hectic tedious workload from HR ^_^
but doubt i will go back. the envt doesn't reali fit me :)
FYP, design project!
manage to get the mech engr solidworks mod BUT i realise it's 3 MCs which is alil bohua for me but nvm i was prepared to take additional modules anws :)
hehe wonder how my fyp proj will be.. pretty much fortunate to get the prof tt i want :D
