alrights so back to fyp today..
had exam last week and XN sweetly gave me a week of break :)
which i did nth fruitful after the exam (wed) lol
happily(?) slacking away...
feeling rather... hmm
down..too many things on my mind..
demoralised..
just hoping for time to stand still
and it seems one of the nice postgrad noticed it. meiy was taken aback and it was sweet of him to encourage me on
put a smile on my face for a moment ^.^
sigh why are my extended family such a scheming(nicely put - competitive) ones?
unhappiness revolving ard the same type of issue yet again
why can't i have a nice and loving granny.uncles.aunties.cousins.etc.???
and why all those pretence? what is there to achieve?
realli frustrated abt all such stuff :(
meiy is feeling like she's living for other pple
always binded by so many restrictions and taboo
the world ard meiy is just so small and pathetic -_-
but of course
certain things sld be done in the different phases of life
alrights so on the lighter note
saturday was a blasting one..
started with meiy waking up late -_-
scouting for maps of 'holiday inn atrium'
checking emails.
mopped floor
shower
lift to anchorage for esesc day.. a retreat for the 2nd MC to chill out since we did all the necessary 'admin work' earlier on :) got the new club shirt - milo green but ladies cut so its rather tight fitting and the sleeves were long. rather werid looking haha but its fine. then spliited up in groups to scout for good food. went to chinatown just to get claypot rice and came back to watch power rangers lol.. cos one of the group was intending to perform a skit on power ranger so they need the typical commands. lol brought back some memories :) used to love pink ranger and green/white ranger. of course not forgetting the robot(aiyayayaya)..
tried some interesting teochew-style pork sth(feels like jelly)..rather like the taste of it
manage to ate close storage's roast honey chicken(i think its the nicest), chicken rice, rojak, claypot rice, satay beehoon, mango with pomelo dessert, black sesame paste, peanut paste..so on and on.. pretty much a feast :D
then whizzed off to holiday inn atrium for amelia's bdae celebration
with a lift from kf
it was raining cats and dogs when i intend to leave :S
reached there rather late but fortunately din missed the bdae song :)
the food was not bad..but no cold noodle!! just the reali basic kinda sushi..
had e-fu noodle(my fav), and some chicken cucumber soup..
brownie.cheesecake.choc rolls..
so yummy and all for the price of $22+
(reminds me of the buffet during wx's bdae..that is reali one of the best tt i ate)
so yeps..this group of gals booked a room in level23..nice no.
and the once familiar hotel room smell(i think its those carpets) makes me want to go for holidays again!!! caught "twilight" on star movie. what good timing but it was towards the ending alr so..yah. (din like new moon anws but twilight seems better) and yesh jassie is crazily in love over edward -_-'' then they had "finding nemo", "moulin rouge".haha then did some manicure!! thanks to dearest amelia who brought part of her collection. then weili offered to paint my nails so yeppie..nails are green now! surf net..korean manga online.. e-shopping. saw one reali nice braclet with a star on it. $15.90 only! but then i forget the link alr lol gotta ask again. blog reading. fb-ing. just reali normal normal stuff but its realli an enjoyable one.
then count down to midnight which is the actual bdae! and the toast part was hilarious cos we're all just saying ultra normal wishes instead of some reali good ones haha (wendy brought the red wine) i kept the red wine cork hehe..not very sure why but meiy likes to keep it. the first time was during a treasure hunt back in 1st 3mths nyjc.
they brought alot of junk food too :p cupnoodle, potato chips..all fully prepared.
played board games and the "panda game" was a tough one! then watched "you're beautiful" again!! lurve it :p
and sadly..meiy has to leave at 3am :s
can't stay over so yeps bade farewell and got a lift from kf again
lol he was enjoying coffee in orchard and surfing net so he shun bian fetched me home :) thanks kf!
and so overall it was a good night spent! should do more of such gals gathering hehe tho the booking is reali costly. thanks jassie for organising and of course the rest who came..wendy.weili.meihui.and the star - amelia! a wonderful times :)
and..shall stopped blogging for now
back to fyp tho i think my samples are still flowing at drop-wise rate -_-
500ml..how long more to wait?? :S
