Finally completed the drama "Queen Seok Duk".
An epic drama. One of meiy's fav :)
This drama talked about the life of the first female ruler in Shilla..how she overcomed the various obstacles with her strong beliefs and intelligence and most imptly - TRUST. Its hard to trust people around you esp so when the many lives depends on it. Sad ending or so but the plot is enticing. PLUS, it encompasses really good cast esp so for the evil lady, Mi-shil (Ko Hyun Jung). She almost stole the limelight from the lead actress (Lee Yo Won), with her composure and the expressions she acted out. I lurve it when she gave a smirk or talked with her eyebrows moving for greater emphasis.. not many can do that, i'm sure.
As for the Queen's left and right hand men, they acted well too. Just that Kim Nam Gil who act as Bi Dam (direct translated into "Pi dan") led a really sadistic life. A life spent trying very hard to pleased others and a life filled with insecurity. Can't exactly blame him for not trusting the Queen.
Somehow, the actors and actresses were given good roles to pit their acting skills since many din catch my eyes when they act in modern dramas. I din even know they exist LOL or maybe they just look good in a different outfit.
REally hope that Ko Hyun Jung won many awards for this :D She deserve it !!
Only noe she got 2009 MBC Drama awards. (MBC is one of the television stations that produced many epic dramas) and guess what?! Her latest drama is "Dae Mul" where she also act as a capable lady who strive to be a female president as written in dramawiki :D

its been a long time... really long
manage to visit the soybean stall outside st nix :) Brought back some memories there. Walked the once familiar route. That row held mac,soybean stall AND manga rental! haha. Frequent patron at tt point of time.

Having not so good urms.. "assistant aka helpline"
having to wear covered shoes + jeans whenever there's lab
having late night, writing reports
having oral presentation in May :( when almost everyone is more or less on a hols frenzy
having not seriously finding a job yet

I sld think that the merlion is the most hilarious one
