SH discussion was more or less done up. I sld think this is really my worst proj i have done in the 4years of NUS. all the english and proper phrasing of words here and there.. let's hope the exams will be better :)

anws the day started off alil diff today.
my sis took my bus pass and din return it to me so i dumbly tap on the ezlink machine, hoping that it will light up. PLUS unfortunately, i din hav much coins so there wasn't enough for the second trip, ended up walking to NUS from clementi rd (luckily i took bus74 and stopped at the last possible stop). super dotz! but it was an experience. haha :p
30mins of walk to compensate the monday runs.
and as usual, HR made me think/reflect alot again.
today's discussion was on one's dream job.
and come to think of it, it's been sometime since i revisited the dream~
partly becos i noe it wun materialised..
too many commitments.
too many things that i can't let go.
which sld i sacrifice?
family? i've been pretty fearful of not being able to bid a last farewell to my parents due to some reasons or other.
or pursuing my dream?
Somehow over the years, i realise that family is my top concern and not friends..
i noe it's pretty much dumb to want to help others when u can't even help urself BUT one sld just learn to be contented.
contented abt the fact tt u have a roof over ur head
contented abt the fact tt u have 3meals or more a day
contented that clean water flows out of a tap
contented that u're able to flush ur waste away
contented tt u're healthy and fit
contented tt u are educated.
contented abt...............
the list goes on.
oh btw my dream is to travel around the world to help the poor..except this time, i'm thinking more on the engineering aspect rather than medical. Engineering in the sense of installing water treatment gadgets, etc to bring in clean water.
It's really a dream~
Then, did lab today and had to bathe the feed tank as the cooling system leaked and release those iron rust -_- sickening. and as u noe when meiy touches the set up, there's no running away from mopping the floor :x
a "spring cleaning" day.
oh and i witness an unsafe work practice in the lab. The workers were changing the air duct (i think) and the blade that they using wasn't binded tightly enough and almost came off *drop jaw*
I'm fortunate that my work desk is not below those ducts. phew~
