oh let's talk abt sports!
there was this article that caught my eyes ytd.
Water Hockey in SINGAPORE!!
the very first and only club lol.. it's been operating for a couple of years alr.
whee...
and it seems that it's $5 per session :D

so i went to wiki abt it:
"Underwater hockey (also called Octopush) is a non-contact sport in which two teams compete to manoeuvre a puck across the bottom of a swimming pool into goals.
The stick is less than 350mm long -_-

It's rather not thrilling but the other "improvised" version may be the underwater ice hockey. "Underwater ice hockey (also called sub-aqua ice hockey) is a minor extreme sport that is a variant of ice hockey. It is played upside-down underneath frozen pools or ponds. Participants wear wetsuits and flippers, and use the underside of the frozen surface as the playing area for a floating puck. Competitors do not utilize any breathing apparati, but instead surface for air every 30 seconds"

sounds alil crazy lol

but what's the more seemingly interesting underwater sports is underwater rugby!
Accord to wiki:
"Played underwater in a pool with a depth of 3.5m to 5m and goals at the bottom of the pool. Two teams, each with six players, try to score a goal by sending the slightly negatively buoyant ball (filled with saltwater) into the opponents’ goal. It is a fast and exhausting game; therefore, the subs replace their players on the fly.
The ball may be passed in any direction but must not leave the water. It "flies" about 2m or 3m before water resistance stops it. This makes good tactics and good (three-dimensional) positioning essential. The players can use different abilities: Strength, speed, mobility or simply low consumption of oxygen are all similarly important."

and youtube videos are rather hilarious. Maybe it's my first time watching them play in such manner ^.^
