Had an interesting night yesterday
and tgt wif lia (rather unexpected :D)
went to klub arena..like finally
BUT it was a let down
perhaps the choice of music wasn't so in my league
altho there was suju and mblaq songs :)))
Just ain't enough vibe since the selection of songs failed to lead to a peak
Anws, it was an eye opener for me tho i will not attend it again LOL
and the guy from CJ really very spontaneous and yeps! he won the competition :D

despite the let down,

we met a korean guy (who kinda look like kim hyun joong-lia's bias!)and gal who brought us to a korean pub and korean karaoke. cool~

the controller totally in korean!
but i roughly memorise what to press already XD

due to copyrights issue, the video shown are really super old ones and not original mv. Altho there were some really nice videos haha!

and he really sang beautifully! be it korean songs or chinese songs. He is super good! unbelieveable :D
shall bring niasin and yingxuan there one day! can also practice our fanchant. muahaha!!
Really an eye opener and never knew there were so many korean hangout place just on this sunny island!

Shall go to butter factory next time!

and so meiy did say she will cont'd more on her train of thoughts...

So, meiy thought back
and felt that she was blessed afterall.
Considering that the focus in life is missing;
an end to academic and the start to a career
without much motivation to the upcomings.
despite the miss for the first one, it opened another refreshing chapter.
Refreshing in the sense of a completely new environment,
away from the conventional political work environment.
OF course, there are still some dissatisfaction but meiy believe there was more happpy moments.

A casual work environment with many "nut-loose" colleague
i never expect my work place to be tt insane. LOL
but all these cheer one up
Many a times, meiy hope to be able to break free and be as crazy as them but that time never came. Perhaps she just need alittle more time to build up that confidence.

to do a spin in front of everyone
to speak in a funny accent
to open the drawer and nag into it
to shout tmd really loudly
to bang table
to etc...
use the imagination~

So apart from building confidence in the job,
meiy have yet to find the goal in her life.
Some may say that it is not that impt but somehow, meiy just need a clear direction..
in order to be motivated and perform :(

OF course, meiy also have dreams...
such as living in Korea, enjoying the culture and the pop industry
learning korean and kimchi and etc...
It's just a simple dream but hard to achieve given the current status.
So apart from saving money, it's still saving money
and learning the language.

And 2011 being a blessed year
filled with lovely memories...
super show 3 - going crazy with yx, screaming our lungs out. A day of fanatic meiy~
Fanchant/dance sessions - with trulyelfs. Felt a sense of generation gap LOL. nevertheless, it's always amusing to see how fans go ooh-ahh-wah about their own bias.
Haircut - yeps. specially mention as it's cut by one of my dance friend! and it's free >.< CNY - playing session with study bench group. The very first new year spend at home with frenz~
Ang Pow Collection - met some nice uncle/auntie who were also crazy over the rabbit ang pows :)
Working in Chingay - Come to think of it, i'm pretty fated with lights! haha..Anws, first time selling the lights and thinking that who will be crazy to buy one just for chingay. To my delight, there were many who bought! and i did hav bonus for it >.< Quite a great first exp tho i doubt i will cont'd with it cos really back aching. Hahaha..shall just simply enjoy chingay along the road~ Street Jazz - a new experience with Meiyen. Dancing with her sure did help me to open up alil since her constant craze did influence meiy alittle. Pity, we din cont'd with street jazz 2. (Shall look for one this year)
Swimming - a regular exercise with my colleagues! it's simply great to be in the pool of cold water. shiok~
Sujuholic - YEppies! thanks to both nia sin and ying xuan's exchange to korea, i almost completed the whole set of suju album collection. Muahahah!! When will it be my turn?!Birthday! - Quite a number of celebrations and all rather significant. Enjoyable~
The Big Groove - the very first dance perf that i attended.Pretty impressive and makes one feel like training harder in dance.
T24 outing - with the highest attendance recorded so far after graduation. HAHA! Tho it was a simple dinner but it felt great catching up and seeing those same old funny acts/habits some frenz hav
Suju mtv dance lessons - Mr. Simple and A-Cha. With Nia Sin and Joo.
Dance - Yesh! more dance lessons! with deph! quite surprised and happy to do sth with my bestie! hehe altho the dance was alittle just too fast and confusing altho thank god that it's rather repetitive HEHE
First overseas trip! - yeppies doopie! meiy went shanghai with alson :) Had fun despite it being a biz trip. Cold air brushing across my face. felt really good altho air wasn't tt clean. Had the chance to sleep in a room with double beds on the first night. Felt really good, just doing things alone :p
Drinking! - and so meiy went to drink and dance. Dance was when meiy became semi-drunk. LOL. The first time getting drunk..quite an experience but it did felt good to let go alittle..just alittle. Tho the next day had a queasy stomach and neck ache. DOTZ!
Xmas! - sth special this year as it's the first time celebrating it in my work place! Totally have fun, basking in the festive mood and getting high LOL and msot imptly, meiy owns her very own polaroid!!! whee...

Hmm..i reckon that should be all..major ones :)))
looking back, meiy had a happening year!

and so for this year 2012!
meiy must start studying..at least find sth more enriching!
First up, korean!
Second up, short courses in Biz! Shall take such until i'm really firm on MBA. Perhaps starting with risk management, etc. Shall start looking for it.
Third up, Adobe Flash! (provided i got the spare cash altho not likely)
Fourth - still planning :)
Most imptly, meiy's health. Yah =_= meiy has hit the 60mark already. RAH!! awfully bad~ Time to watch my diet and exercise more!! gambate~

but of course, with kiaj's grad trip (i really hope i can go or at least overseas once this year) + Deph's wedding + Petr's wedding (if all goes well).
GEEZ! my bank account is in danger! LOL.

it's kinda saddening esp for them.

Altho i have not listen to it (they speak korean..can only catch up when eng sub is provided via youtube)nor did i went to ktr to see them (not yet)..but it's like a daily dosage to those loyal ktr listener. Even tho it's still within the family,taken over by wookie and minnie

Another eventful week

Took leave ytd and went out with kiaj and frenz
since the exams are finally over for them!
time to take a short breather and chiong for fyp + another semester :)

Overslept + rainy day.
Plan to swim was scrapped :(
headed to kfc for a porridge breakfast and catch up with card writing.
LOL wrote quite long..2 cards in 45mins. =_=''
shall send it out soon.

Then headed to safra for card game + kbox!
Though the billiard room was SO TEMPTING!! i so want to play pool again. Geez~ altho i'm quite lousy now. :X
As usual the card game was awesome, tho it took some time for us to recall/decipher the various card functions. It is the best way to spend the time and most imptly without a cent spend. muahaha..meiy muz save up for the greaet travel!
Did sang a few songs but as usual wasn't that good. My did sang really well..
Manage to remember some songs that i sld think will be easier for me to sing. lol. THEN, nia sin sang the boys and no other! just by reading the korean words. Oh-my-gosh!! so zai! shall work towards that.. which reminds me, i sld really look for korean class to attend. lalala...

So i've been thinking hard..
after realising tt hey meiy's eyes were alil moist upon listening to Teuk speak when they rcv "Best album award" and not forgetting tt i dun uds korean..i was alil surprised. Reckon tt u muz really sort of experience the whole journey "wif" them tt u will then uds how hard they hav work to b wat they r now and also knowing tt they r sm artiste..makes it even more xin suan~
One will tend to b affected by their mood.
YX did shed some tears but her jnr din as they ain't elf.

i guess u do need to b a fan first to better uds. At meiy's age, she's still so bend on chasing after one man.

So yeps.. it was rather embarrassing. LOL
but as of now..i'm so hot on their heels~

Yuppies! it's the year end again!
and once again, it's the time for many award ceremonies!

This year MNet Asian Music Award is held in Singapore! One of the really major music award show! (altho there's GDA in Jan) Meiy took really long contemplating whether to attend or not. AND finally, she bought the tix on the very morning and attended the ceremony in the evening! By a stroke of luck, Pen C waiting area was just alongside red carpet so i cld actually see those cars coming in and the heads of those korean star "bobbing" LOL. BUT! as i was finding for a good spot, i saw suju entering! just at the side at the very front. Everyone was screaming! Had a good clear view of them. Hehe ^^ and their seats were just placed at the very side that i stood! even tho it was separated by another pen(mosh pit), it was good enough :)))) can see them practically throughout and yesh hyuk din fail us as he was super hype throughout..The girl beside me kept attempt to take a close shot of suju BUT to no avail. Oh wells~ Nvm. can always depend on those who manage to smuggle in their pro camera!

Great performance. AND i haven find a video which can fully capture the effect of hyuk descending. Zomgosh~

Explosive superman followed by upbeat Mr. Simple and ending off with Sorry Sorry. The best performance! and great cheers/fanchants from the audience. whee~

Shall blog multiple times for the day!
partly due to the lack of updates when there's so many things going on.
those pounds that's register on the weighing scale.. geez!

So let me back track..

After a few days of "entertainment" with the supplier, Meiy had the chance to go Shanghai! The very first biz trip and the very first overseas without family :)
It was pretty much an eye opener for me. From using the new passport to board the plane to exploring the "IT gadget" on the plane (There was Mr. Simple playlist!) to enjoying the food served on board - seafood! to being welcomed by a bed of clouds to having headache due to excessive watching of movie LOL.. to many many other things. Oh not forgetting that there was a really cute air steward! muahaha!

Ate really alot throughout the trip!
Duck combo - tongue, meat, skin, etc. Mala Hotpot (not tt spicy) and tried the pork knuckle/bone? whereby u are suppose to suck the juice out from the bone. Xiao long bao. Ramen. Yummilicious~ Chewed sugar cane, ate korean cup noodle from supermart (LOL) and of course drinking beer now and then :/ Fortunately it was easy to drink beer but being a passive smoker is bad! Really enjoyed the cool weather having the cold wind blowing and shivers. Hehe..the coolest place was at the port whereby we were ask to wait in the open at night! (and meiy forget to wear socks) It's practically being stuck in a freezer. brr...

Was actually rather apologetic to cf who shared a rm with me since i really took super long time to bathe..super long time to pack my bag.. Slow meiy at work~ BUT the tv channels in Shanghai was SO MANY and in the hotel, i was able to playback meaning i can actually watch so many shows! muahaha!!! target those epic HK drama. whee...oh that reminds me i sld go youtube for that show which i watched halfway~ lalala.

So overall, the trip was an enjoyable one. Thanks to my colleague - Alson who took care of many things & even helping me to bargain for lower price! haha :D and it was also my first time seeing him present. If only i can be half as good, i believe it will just be gd enough for me. =_='''

Even tho there was much follow up to do after the trip, i will still opt for more biz trip. Hehe..

So after the trip, there were many things to catch up in office! (i was too lazy to check my emails and do work when i'm in SH).. so meiy is still catching up..
considering that i spend some more days meeting another supplier and inspecting cranes too(alongside R. and that's how i noe 3rtgs are just right for me alr. lousy stamina of meiy)..considering that i need to support 2 sales guys (one on leave and one on biz trip)..that leaves not much office time for me to do my OWN work! geez~
Must definitely build up the tempo. broom broom broom....~

the plan was to take leave then go for swim then meet petr for lunch.

Fortunately did manage to meet up with Petrina for lunch and to kill time with me while waiting for 4pm to arrive. Hehe!

Altho i sld hav went earlier then perhaps i can be standing in the red carpet region. Hoho..(But i still can't beat those who queued overnight and manage to catch suju rehearsing! rah!)

and so finally a time for updates!
meiy's life was really busy the past few weeks.

Started with bdae celebration :D

Had a relaxing afternoon, with sushi and huge serving of pasta :p
Then, on the actual day - deph.mad.lia.annie! think it's the first time i celebrated it with my st nix buddies. whee..and its all thanx to dearest deph!
yeps..planned and tgt with a surprise bdae cake! yummilicious choc cake.
finally satisfy my craving of cha soba :D
Prior to that, celebration in the office. There was actually two! felt really heartwarming~ and with the multiple bdae songs played via speaker. It was a fantastic working day!

and today, celebration with whitelyians~

went to sushi tei and it was really small and squeezy but lurve the food despite spending so much. and the zaru soba!!!!!!!!! whee...
regretted not watching real steel with jassie and lia
even tho the woman ... ... wasn't tt bad. The fighting scene practically saved the whole film! Then there was someone slping in the cinema!! haha!

Lastly, prezzie!!

The next eventful occassion will be the visit!
sat in the 19-seater mini bus/van.
felt really awesome as it's as if you're a celebrity travelling ard.
Suju sld booked such vehicle instead of the 10 seater(?) which they took.

Dinner at ku te da~
the view was magnificant! but pity wasn't lounging outdoor due to the rain.

missed the daily light show
missed the ambience
food wasn't tt bad esp the wagyu beef and stirloin steak. tender and juicy. *drools*
had red wine and sparkling water
realise i can drink more beer than wine :x
Due to 'poor' lighting, am unable to take photos of the food.
but i use flash towards the ending - dessert!!

the lunch was located at the 60th floor with pretty good view

and as usual, super full! kinda like the peking duck and fried rice.
The guests were pretty amused by the way tea was pured and how the tea spiral aroung the contours of the cup. refreshing~

and i should think an eye opener for meiy too :D

but was a pity not to be able to taste the wanton soaked in the chilli sauce as it's fried food day! but delighted that once again, we stepped into st nix! tho there wasn't the familiar red bridge, the familiar fish pond but there was mother mary and familiar faces (teacher/stall tenders)

wasn't tt excited over the "company outing" until we start planning for it the day before. hehe..actually its just meiy.sn.my+wl who went ^^

in the end, we took the long bus ride to hort park -_- meiy's fault as she wanted to avoid the hassle of changing bus/mrt. lolx. and so with much hype over it, started off with feeding the fishes and to my amazement, they're really famished. saw a few interesting fishes. Then, we proceed to the alexandra bridge but was greeted witha few signs :(
"wild monkey spotted" + "maintenance in the process to further notice"!! ZOMG.
totally bong out!

so we just walk along the road to vivo city o_O

oh wells..will hav to carry out the walk in the nx outing...provided maintenance is done.

felt alil tired tho the walk wasn't long
but i guess its the "stress" felt during the weekdays.
(yesh. mbm is over. phew~ wif much relief, i scrapped thru again)
so it did felr good taking a walk
not spending any more since i just bought an almost full range of skincare! hope it cures ny acne :/
even tho i may add more to the range since i'm still lacking of sunblock(cost$44!), eye cream and night repair..

Frankly speaking, it was still great watching it 3D but it will be better if its a bigger theatre! Spotted things that i have not notice when i attend the concert just in the beginning of the year. Even though they skipped many songs and only placing those hip songs plus yesung's solo(the unforgettable song that yesung and elf will sing tgt!). I think i saw tears well up in yesung's eyes after the song. aww.. Elf+Suju=<3

had seoul garden with dance frenz.
and had a good burp after drinking. muahaha!!

so on monday, we formed groups to dance on the final lesson. yeps! street jazz will be ending soon. even though only 8cpunts were taught every lesson, i kinda still like the lesson. whee...perhaps its the atmosphere or perhaps its my who helped in me letting go alil. Anws altho it may sound hilarous but its true that when one look into.a mirror a.d see a totally different person, he/she will freak out. LOL.
as for me..i guess i can't dance proper when i noe someone is looking at me. nervous max!

and on tues..jojo did superman!!! oh man! just when i din attend since i din cont'd :((((((

taking my first leave ever since i started work :D yippee..
it kinda feel like i'm going for ss3 tmrw. Meiy has been wondering.pondering.thinking...
where's the meaning of going out practically everyday.
Not only does it suck up one's energy,
it also lead to a depletion in allowance; lesser savings
lesser family time

on the other hand,
it's healthy to bask in the crowd (?)
it's good to meet up with frenz to catch up
(but i can't exactly do it everyday, spare me. I will rather spend the time msn/fb with my frenz rather than going out..pondering where to head to..walking the whole day and needing a place to rest one's foot in..or dying from the heat and frantically looking for the air con..)

Sigh~

Perhaps it's with such thinking that it seems like i've miss out keeping in contact with a few once-good frenz. Tho a card now and then was sent. To add on, not being a very vocal person, its just hard to keep ranting on and on without having an awkward silence now and then tho its actually pretty nice just to stroll casually, enjoying the environment, surroundings, not talking at all. serenity~
perhaps serenity is what meiy require after five days of work even though work isn't that hectic now. But working just seems to leave one jaded and it seems like meiy has a lower tolerance level towards things that she deemed as pointless or dumb to listen to or talk abt.

But of course, i sincerely hope that they are doing well and fine. Ever improving and not be standing on the same spot.

I have a colleague that told me "I don't feel like meeting them since i meet them every other day, as for other frenz, they always talk about guys and how glorious their life is (Superficial pple) so i dun feel like meeting them...but i dun want to go home. I shall just go out alone" =_=

who thinks that boy bands should consist of music prodigy
and i presume he believes that his singing is great to be able to make such a comment.

it's commencement!
a year ago, standing in ucc hall, receiving the scroll
ignoring the fact of a not so colorful transcript, just being thankful that the 4years have passed and excited that finally it's time to embark on another journey in life
despite the not-so-clear direction that meiy is heading to
but nevertheless.
gratitude.

and now a year has passed.
it felt that commencement was ytd.
yet to achieve any thing in my career that meiy is satisfied with
Even tho meiy has to admit that her life is pretty enriching so far
jumping right into the hallyu wave..
met a group of awesome dance frenz. young and energetic!
taking in many dance choreo by many idol bands
being inspired.
to the extent of wanting to learn the korean langauge
somehow this jump has made meiy's life not so mundane afterall
at least i know that's sth that i can look forward for or to bask in.
apart from it, met a group of uniquely beautiful ladies
they may not be drop-dead gorgeous but possess the beauty within
not a day without a hearty laugh whenever they're ard :)
the ability to converse on any topic under the sun including really awkward topic
amazement.
will i be able to open up just like them?
and in turn met a bunch of "varying-age" salesmen
learning their life experience/their way of thinking from both mentors
creating a working style of meiy's own
learning how "bad/wild" guys can be from the 80range :p
and being so open abt it
simply fun.

so this year's siww is huge! they separated the talks from the main exhibitors. more food. more pretty ladies(i dunno why they are there in the first place. flower vase -_-) and as usual pub's booth is huge! and nicely done up. Oh and lesser goodies to take.
I often ask myself..why do i attend this every year when i dun even network with the pple there.. they can be my prospective employee. LOL. i guess i' just hav to pluck up that courage soon. May next year be even more fruitful!

thrilled since i haven been watching shows, etc for a couple of weeks alr :((((

just went for a swim at some ulu swimming complex
it started off awkwardly as we're afraid to show our big thighs
but it was a wise choice to choose a suit with skirt :p
but of course, i still wore my sis' swimming suit and i'm getting to like it more
It felt great even with the slight drizzle and looking at the droplets with the high mast as backdrop..pretty soothing. I realise that i'm pretty sensitive towards high mast now. Hahaha..since they're pretty hard to plot -_-'''

so first lesson with my
but personally i think i din exactly teach her much since her kicking seems to have some problems but i can't lay a finger on it. Trying to recall how my instructor taught me way back then. Being her float, guiding her along so that she can practice her kicking ^^
then i did a freestyle to show her and altho it was a pretty short one but my legs were abt to cramp -_- result of not warming up. Never had the habit to warm up which is really bad. Shall do so now!
but i still like freestyle despite low stamina, etc but it's the style that drives the adreline. oh wells~

Bought the shirt and fortunately S fits me well.
On the hindsight, it seems that esesc had made a few of them burnt out. Tho there are a few whom i hope can cont'd to render support to the club and be able to fulfil what we set out to do - the voice of the student body.
and that reminds me..i've an alumni dinner to attend and it seems that it isn't a freshie and alumni dinner but just purely alumni dinner across eng fac -_- which is not the purpose why i will want to go. sianz. but oh wells..hope it will be useful afterall. we shall see how~

it was an eye opener..taking the lift which is rather similar to the olden times of sliding 2 doors LOL looking at the big engine room with so many switches and boards which obviously meiy is clueless..and entering into the cabin and sitting on the chair. WOW!
holding onto the railings and realising that black palms stared back after leaving.
having a bird's eye view on the shipping activity..loading and unloading. bustling with life
a weird feeling of entering into the transformer world. muaahaha

WOW! i just realise that it's been so long since i update my blog!
Work has really kept me busy and drained out.
it's been almost 1.5months into my job and time really flies!
meiy can really feel that she has grown older.
Nights of dinner out, meeting friends totally left me zombified. Can't imagine how the others can do it. zomg!
really missed the times when i cld freely msn, freely fb, freely watch my drama!
2 weeks without suju updates! feeling alil suffocated.
which explains the number of video i dl last week.. a record high of 70+!!! o.o''

it's my second day into work life :)
today was a pretty scary day since i forget to submit sth really impt (i kinda got mixed up with all the deadlines) so i was rushing like mad plus today also hav deadlines =_= Made some mistakes here and there but i guess it's part of the learning process tho i was pretty nervous and afraid :s Fortunately, boss never flare up.

Okies. Work aside! Hav been trying to design a neutral blogskin whereby i can just modify alil without changing the entire background BUT the problem is..i can't make up my mind! on using which photos/design to use. Everything looks great. And of course, since it's neutral b'grd..sth that can last for really long. It has to hav super junior in it MUAHAHA.. So upon completion, i realise the codings were alil wrong since my image came up really downsized! angry! So many issues esp when i'm burning the midnight oil to do it. Altho i enjoy playing ard with photoshop. Tried "filter" and opacity this time around. Quite cartoon end products i get =) but of course, i can't squeeze everything into my design.

Sigh~ I was just telling me sis to go learn PS then we can exchange pointers! i really need someone to exchange pointers with..i reckong it's the fastest way to learn ^^

So other than personal interest, a very impt friend's b'dae has came and passed. Din get to celebrate it on the actual day plus i've run out of ideaas AND most imptly, i'm pretty budget :( However, i'm glad that i bought the design that deph likes! Since i seriously hav no time to go down to cityhall to take a look at their wider collection. Hav to make do with the ultra limited ones in J8 -_-'''

AND i've been feeling pretty touched lately! Frenz hav really nicely msg me to enquire abt my first few days of job..even some who i least expected from..they remembered! Just chit chatted with niasin and my train of thoughts were like super messy. Had a yummy dinner! tgt with my sis :p
Even tho thomson was so near my hse BUT i haven step into longhouse until today.

WE started out by sharing char kway teow THEN beef noodle for meiy and prawn noodle for sis :) Somehow, meiy had a craving for beef noodle and was glad that i tried it! the beef was pretty tender and it was in cube size. pretty cute. PLUS their carrot was sliced in a pretty interesting way(i haven figure out how they can slice it that way) PLUS there were some funny veggie that u wun exactly link it with beef noodle AND most imptly, their noodle was simply delicious! it tasted diff from other noodle..even the texture was alil towards the rougher side and alil curly. lurve the tinge of peppery taste. LOL. idk but it just tasted really nice. a MUST try!
Prawn noodle was ok for me since i dun really like yellow noodle. Tho their prawn really look fantastic since they chop it into half and placed nicely into the bowl. The soup base was not bad tho i wld hav put much chilli into it. haha. Char kway teow was pretty good too..not that oily ^^
BUT of course, the beef noodle is the BEST!

Located just diagonally opp. longhouse. The ice cream are all handmade and you can 'witness' them doing it ^^ The taste is simply rich and heavenly haha.
The best is durian. oh-my-tian! it's just so yummy!! really rich~ I cld hav eaten 2 scoops of it easily! Green tea and avacado were yummy too since it's not sweet and tasted authentic. I think it's the best green tea i've tried thus far!
I din regret eating the 5 scoops! (Tho the passion fruit kinda clash with the others as it was the sweetest with sour taste)

Shall find another time to indulge in the remaining flavors ^^ there's watermelon!

So that was a wonderful dinner with my sis =)
it was my sis's suggestion to go there to dine.

it's the 3rd day of work!
so far so good THO there's alot to learn..as expected. Just hope that i'm a good learner.

Was pretty excited the day before 1st day! cldn't really slp haha..kept checking my phone for 6.30AM so that i can wash up and leave home :p
as usual traffic was slow and top it up with drizzle! i seriously hate to open the umbrella since my bag is really small LOL
BUT there was seats in 852.

Felt energetic for the first two days but i'm feeling tired today! (even tho i din watch tv last night and i slept immediately after i bathe).

ANWS, first day was an "eye opener" since i finally glimpse the insides. The really narrow pantry cum storeroom but pretty sufficient. Big desk and computer to use. there's also printer/scanner.binding machine.laminator.radio. hoho. My fav 'frenz'.
Tho the office is small but quite homely which is good! and the air con is brr...freezing. AND of course, not forgetting my boss/collegue who are really friendly BUT to meiy..i pretty require much time to warm up first :x theen can talk casually and not shyly LOL.

PREtty happy to be working as money roll in. lalala...

and even tho it's only 3days into the work. i seriously hope that it can be my career despite its smallness :p

tried the canteen ytd and it's not that bad tho the mutton was really tough BUT they sell ice cream! omg!! muahaha but then it kinda feel weird licking ice cream there. oh wells~ shall see how when the cravings come. just attended ACES annual DND celebrating their 40th anniversary.celebrating their launch of a new logo.celebrating the signing between LTA Academy and aces.
[In case you're wondering what's ACES: Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore]
meiy pretty much like the new logo with the 3D effect. simple.professional.smart look.

There was a performance - violin and harp. classical music.
There was good food..pan pacific hotel.
There was door gift - wine opener and a notebook. AND if we've won the table lucky draw which was a standing fan. WOW! (but i can't imagine carrying it and taking a bus/mrt. LOL)
AND it's really a male dominating industry...
AND there wasn't pretty much i can do there since i do not hav the ability/capability to socialise yet.. so VERY FORTUNATELY there was irene and johny..at least there was someone to talk to and feel rather odd/out-of-place tgt. lol. (Irene is the recep aka super woman while johny was the office boy aka intern so they aren't engineers)

AND i pretty learn more abt my future workspace. lol. which frankly speaking..wasn't what i thought. Hope i will be able to 'survive'; meet up to the expectations. AND one of the interviewers is the president of ACES (zomg!). stressed! haha

and having learnt more abt my work...i seriously think it's time for meiy to pull up her socks and put on the thinking cap. START MUGGING!

meiy's very first time there..experiencing it live! but i never go there slack slack de wor. Went to work ^^ selling lightsticks *blingbling*
i even bought a blue horn hoho preparing for future super show. whee....
AND i met a few good pple :p (the world is always great with such pple ard)
one who offered to share his umbrella when i zoomed pass him 'unsheltered' and he actually quicken his pace to offer his umbrella. nice~ BUT then since his umbrella wasn't tt big..i ended up wetter(at least one sleeve) compared to if i had run thru..haha
AND i met a volunteer who very nicely helped me "crossed" the road since the place was suppose to be condorn off for the hua ce to go thru. He actually informed me when they got the green light when i was busy selling the lightsticks ard the area ^^ That save me much time and walking distance since i dun hav to walk a whole big round :p

Korean Hip Hop.
It's getting challenging..with many more steps and faster moves.
Pretty like it when the moves are "hit-hard-control" rather than lyrical. AND now that there's video taking for every lesson, nervous!! however, it's pretty great to hav the crew members joining since they're really good and they made the pic look so much nicer haha rather than us few struggling with the moves. Lurve tvxq's mamximum chereo. best! Ytd's dance was not bad too except i really can't catch up to their speed. RAIN's bad boy! Feel the rainism~
(i seriously think rain deserves the super star label. he's just good! Pity that he will be enlisted soon to army. oh wells~ but there's always mblaq; his 'baby' ^^)

Just developed many many photos..spending a whooping $50! zomg~ but it's okie since i'm using the vouchers that i've ^^

Anws..was busy designing for SS3 Msia EH birthday project =) 4 pages. WAs pretty impressed by those works submitted by the fans. Some were really cute and much effort put in. There was also a finland elf! wow!! Anws, designing is sth that i definitely enjoy and thank god i cld hold on to the lappie for the whole night..both fri and sat. Manage to discover new effects.styles in the process AND so meiy borrowed a photoshop library bk the nx day haha.. and it's pretty good since it explains the various lighting.effect terms which i dun exactly uds..just fiddling ard till the img turn out nice.

AND i uploaded the photos le! finally~
but i din manage to upload some really 'ancient' ones. nvm. shall just keep it in my hard disk :p

AND what've i been up to lately?

seems like they''' be trying another sch.. i'm actually pretty interested in popping! but street jazz...hmm..dunno what's that. haha. shall take things one step at a time.

AND Meiy suddenly thought of a new proj to do. Happy 10th BUT i dun think i've the time PLUS long hours of lappie usage pretty impossible..esp when ma is not in a very good mood. sigh~

arrgghh... have been trying to reorganize meiy's hard disk but there's so many things in it! zomg!

Fortunately, music/videos are pretty much tidied up.

i've been busy catching up with my dear friends before work start :D

that's quite a feat considering the many restrictions i have ^^
delighted~

good to see that petr is enjoying her love life. much blissful :p
good to see the whitleyians ever bubbly..tho the ktv room was really small :x
good to see that jassie is doing well in her career. milliondollar club le. congrats!
good to be 'back' ard my ese juniors.. it made me feel like a student once again.. enjoying sch life (omitting the fact the fyp was bad)
"good" to see kiaj slacking tho DP is so hectic. Hope they're able to pull thru and enjoy the upcoming hols...to recuperate for their last uni year! time flies~ (KIAJ, i seriously hope ur cap dun drop :P)
good to see that deph is getting all comfortable with her heels ^^ and that she's not that affected by peaks.
good to see lia again! after so long!! and she's also into kpop hoho..
good to see peifen with her 'new look'! losing so much weight and top it up with a new haircut..kinda look professional but not looking younger :x

took the broadwalk into sentosa. pretty warm day but it was nice tho it seems pretty empty(perhaps renovations aren't complete yet) and so happen that it was the last day of sentosa flower festival. How timely~
i'm so going for it again nx year and this time with the whole family! Lol. Have been suggesting it for the past few years but always due to some reason..din go.

but i still dislike crowded places. oh well~

it's just really busy for the past few days

meiy had went to sell lightsticks in chingay.. a new experience and it was great experiencing the festive mood in chingay since i've been watching it on tv. Altho meiy's old bones were screaming for help but i kinda lurve the whole experience..cosplay.ballon sculpture.etc. out of house..more involved with the outside world..getting to know more good pple.. great! and i was one of the best 3 sellers (my friend too!). muahahha ^^ surprising myself. whee....
and weili and i ate cup noodles for supper! hohooho. it was good since i've always want to do that..cup noodle on hand, sitting along the road side or sitting outside some building, eating and chit chatting late into the night :p

meiy had also went ard singapore... kinda ard certain 'hot' spots collecting the museun hongbao. The entire collection involves 39 places!! LOL. of course, i din visit all la..my legs wld hav gave way by then. However, it was nice to explore places that i've not went too or din take notice of. Personally, i lurve the art retreat which is located in ubi tech park. The girl/doll series is impressive! Malay heritage centre is worth going or so i think...even tho i din hav time to take a look at their exhibit.. BUT of course, the best part was sentosa! since images of singapore and fort siloso gave hongbao, i manage to view the flower exhibits too! which were good! Tho it was the last day, it still leaves a good impression. Really lurve the lilies!! very beautiful scene. Oh and the broadwalk is a good idea!

the day has arrived! Jan 30, 2011 @ Indoor Stadium.
$170, well spent or so i strongly believe so
and i seriously want more LOL
(since meiy's center of focus was always on eunhyuk only..so much so that i din really get to 'savour' the whole concert fully.)
After the whole concert, yx and i really had the urge to fly to seoul for their nx ss4 =_= which definitely will be an eye opener and super craze.high.awesome atmosphere! complete with fullout fanchants and great successful support projects :p
Nvm~ shall look forward to SJ-M's album which sld be out soooonnnnn :)

and so the super craze started out @ 5AM.
[having slept for 2+hour since i was busy fishing for info on fb and painting my nails - sapphire blue~ (photo on fb) and getting really excited and hype over the concert.] took the first possible bus to marymount mrt AND yx's dad fetched us to indoor stadium :p and join the queue before 7AM. Hohohohohohoho...
there were a handful of elfs there..sleeping zzz..or doing up some banners.eating mac,etc. and soon after the sky turn light, there was a "false alarm" which cause all elfs to run str to the premier gate BUT the guy just wanted to tell us that the official queue will only start after 1+hours =_= so we were practically just stucked packed there. LOL..but as the time past, the queue became longer and longer so much so that the same guy has to transfer us to somewhere else or we will clutter up the whole loading/unloading area haha.. so there we go..to the 2nd floor. which was better as it was drizzling. BUT that wasn't the official queue yet :S
yx studied her lect notes and i did some sudoku (thanks to yx who brought it) but it was a numb experience..back ache.leg numb.butt pain Hahaha..

AND we're next transferred to a 'tunnel' which was the official queue alr! and there was many pple for Pit B and few for Pit A. seems like pit B are early birds -_-'' (if only we've picked pit a then we cld be in the front row!! tho to be in the 2nd row is still good). and meiy cont'd with her sudoku and munching on food that we brought but both of us din seem to hav much appetite..having butterflies in the stomach :p listening to suju's songs..some sj-m which was pretty new to me since they have too many songs alr and i was lazy to search for it haha.
THEN merchandise time! freebies and fan support were given out BUT there wasn't any for eunhyuk or i've missed it :( but others were as pretty too..
the official merchandise queue was super long...i was thinking that it may hav reached to the station if not for the rain.. yah. everyone was holding umbrella and stood there to queue!
walked ard the stadium, hoping to catch suju arriving which we failed to do so but we manage to listen to wookie rehearsing or so we thought so. ^^

AND the magical hour finally came!

cld feel that my heart pounding profusely when i stepped into the stadium..taking in the huge stage and the enclosure. disappointed at the big gap between the stage and the pen. LOL and more waiting to go as pple stream in.lightsticks shining brightly.camera lights here and there.chatters.etc.

AND soon lights dimmed out..
the concert has begun!

SUPER JUNIOR to earth

a magnificant start...setting the mood immediately. Super high!! let's all scream! ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!11

followed by donghae flying out. whoosh...
(the effects from the green light made meiy felt that she was brought to a 3D world.. as if i was floating. wow!) some members on the center stage while the remaining few at the extension.standing.kneeling..
*screams* *excited* *more screams* ahh!!!!!!!!!!

and out came SORRY SORRY performance!!

AND so meiy's radar was eagerly detecting hyukkie!
and was totally blown away by his new hairdo.

i really think guy's hair sure can change one's appearance significantly!!

hyukkie and donghae's I WANNA LOVE YOU. sexy hot!hyukkie 'ripped' his shirt towards the end but his jacket was still on la.. haha..but that makes it even hotter! can see his abs tho. muahahha... even tho it can't be compared to siwon's but muscle hyukkie - i like! plus the dance was really awesome! *eyes popping out* (i'm sure all elfs will hope to be in that lady's shoe) ignoring the lady who dance with them LOL *screams* AND hyukkie's rap! i lurve how hyukkie rap.. yoyoyo!!and i was really surprised when i was youtubing the fancam for this when users said that this song is a collaboration by eunhae and one way. wow! once again, i'm totally amazed by suju's capability! excellent piece! "i wanna love you, i can't live without you.." can't wait for it to be released ^^

and the most hilarious performance will definitely be this: Lady Gaga's Poker face and Beyonce's Single ladies!

one of the most memorable performance was TRIBUTE TO KANGIN
suju members played imaginary instruments. Really touching scene~
sobs X.X paper hearts were thrown down too..pretty emotional scene. I will definitely wait for kangin to be back on stage to perform A Short Journey

Other effects such as fire spurting out from 'gun' (pity eunhyuk wasn't standing in front of my pit) during Don't don.. sungmin&Leeteuk flying/swimming up in the air..fishing out papers to throw down during No Other :p Images in the center stage was prettily shot and shown too ^^ AND the stage can rotate..but hyukkie chose to run away from the pit that i was in =_= and he shaked hand with the Pen A pple *screams* *envious*. sigh~

AND another of my fav perf was the "vocals" whereby they sat down on steps and sing. aww!!! Hate U, Love U. In my dream. & All my heart brought the mood up after the slow heartwarming songs.. not forgetting there's a part whereby hyukkie wld rap. *phone on standby*

and defintely not forgetting SUJU THANKING ELFS!

I'm sure all the elfs out there will also like to thank suju for THE 5 years and still counting. the power of sapphire blue still rulez! Am so glad that i caught on before this ss3 occurrence in singapore. AND really hope that they continue to do well and of course be able to settle down and build a family eventually ^^ meiy wun want them to live their life alone when they grow old. that will be too saddening! and despite the army issue, meiy sincerely wish for their passion to persists and determination to let the sapphire blue glow and burn strongly ;p

Even though 2010 ended in a disppointing manner.. 2011 is a good start! I heard that bonamana album top the chart (can't remember which chart LOL) and award presentation is soon. To be updated :p

SO May super junior remains and cont'd with that magical touch and bring warmth & laughter to all over the world. May they rule the world!! Hwaiting!

and after 3 hours of hype..the concert is nearing to the end :S i just can't seem to get tired of it even tho i've stand throughout and not forgetting the hours spent on waiting for this.
it was great to see them live..not on youtube..not on tv..but they, themselves just standing almost within touch. and of course to watch hyukkie, the dancing machince dance live! the feeling was undescribeable! Addictive~

screaming really loudly during bonamana since the fanchant for this is the best! kkies. we're practically screaming our lungs out and busy holding banners.taking photos.. just really busy haha.. tho we did gave a few weird stares at our 'neighbours' who really scream at a super high octave when donghae or siwon walked by but i believe we did the same when wookie or hyukkie walked by Hahaha... and hyukkie was really hype throughout..running ard..all over the stadium. and really delighted when he stood in front of our pit and did saranghaeyo. omo! heart almost stopped. meiy melted~ LOL

and even tho they got hit by flying objects (i saw hyukkie getting hit twice on the head.face *angry* and he managed to duck for the 3rd incoming obj), they still cont to smile. REally professional~ salute~

so ENDING with WONDERBOYS (so wanna watch the movie again... stern prefect siwon.funny wookie.cute sungmin.panda kyu/teuk.fighter kangin.eunhyuk and others...) and a walk ard the stadium :( giving freebies.splashing water.taking photos! yesh some of them helped to take photo with elfs *envious*

and it's really sad when the lights came on cos suju has left the stage *depressed* Leaving the pit made me felt lost and it was still raining outside :(

THEN yx and i decided to cont'd waiting for suju's departure..meaning split sec of them boarding their vans and zoom past us. Waited for close to 2hours!! LOL. there're pretty many elfs ard..singing bdae song for kyuhyun and also cheers for super junior. Everyone wants to SEE them for the last time for that day! and yesh..i got a good spot. saw hyukkie in a beanie. muahaha... but it was too dim to take any photos PLUS it was still raining and both of us were wet lol..dripping umbrellas!

AND we left when super junior left~ Raining cats and dogs..brr...

so that's pretty much how i spent my sunday. and meiy's old bones were aching the next day haha... sld hav deposited my bag in the locker so to minimise shoulder ache plus i wun get stuck in crowds so easily LOL i almost got swept away by a fierce hungry crowd upon goodie bags collection =_=

that basically sums up the situation at home :(
i believe this is the first time whereby i hate cny.
somehow..there's so many things to do for it.
and it mainly boils down to as the title state: me.myself&i.

constantly at ma's disposal/command =_=

and what's frustrating is that my family is big...
supposingly many hands
and yet..
there's only 2 pairs constantly at work
and what worsen it...
is that out of these 2 pairs..
1 of them is a 'clean-freak'
sigh~

it doesn't mean that "not working" = very free = ma-li-ya aka maid.
